DEJIU GROUP REACHES CONSTRUCTION MILESTONE ON NIGERIAN FEDERAL INLAND REVENUE SERVICE SOLAR PV CURTAIN WALL PROJECT

GUANGDONG, CHINA – July 2026 – Dejiu Group, a national-level high-tech enterprise specializing in photovoltaic energy storage systems and drone countermeasure technologies, today announced that its solar photovoltaic (PV) curtain wall project for the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) of Nigeria has surpassed the 50% construction milestone.


The project, awarded to Dejiu Group through a competitive bidding process, involves the design, supply, and installation of a building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) curtain wall system on a major tax authority office building in Nigeria. Upon completion, the installation will serve as a landmark demonstration of solar energy integration in public infrastructure across West Africa.

Unlike conventional rooftop solar arrays, the Dejiu solution employs vertically mounted photovoltaic panels integrated directly into the building's exterior wall surfaces. The system is finished with architectural cladding that harmonizes with the building's aesthetic design, ensuring that the renewable energy installation does not compromise the visual appeal of the structure. The result is a seamless fusion of sustainable energy generation and modern architectural expression.


One of the most notable benefits of the system is its passive cooling effect. In Nigeria's tropical climate, where ambient temperatures frequently exceed 35°C, the PV curtain wall absorbs and deflects a significant portion of direct solar radiation before it can penetrate the building envelope. This substantially reduces the cooling load on the interior air conditioning systems, contributing to a more comfortable indoor environment while simultaneously generating clean, emissions-free electricity. The solar energy harnessed by the wall is converted directly into usable power, effectively transforming abundant sunlight into a cost-free and sustainable energy resource for the building's daily operations.

The project is currently on schedule, with the construction phase now more than halfway complete. Once fully operational, the system is expected to generate a substantial portion of the building's daytime electricity demand, with surplus production capable of being directed to auxiliary systems or stored for later use.
